“Vivilens” is an interchangeable lens for mirrorless cameras, featuring a 22mm ultra-wide-angle aspherical plastic lens originally used in a toy camera. This allows you to enjoy the distinctive look and feel of toy camera photography on your mirrorless camera. At the same time, you can take advantage of the convenience and efficiency of digital technology, bringing the charm and creativity of toy cameras into the digital world.

Many photography methods are available with Vivilens that the original toy camera did not have. For example, strobe/flashes, automatic exposure, long exposure photography with a tripod, multiple exposure capability using camera settings, and video shooting.

• Vivilens could be used as a 22mm wide-angle lens for full frame cameras and a 33mm wide-angle lens for APS cameras.
• When installed onto the EOS R series, magenta flares will occur due to the structure of its image sensor.
• When installed onto the APS cameras, strong vignetting cannot be expected.
• Retro film textured images can be produced by adjusting the shooting mode on the camera setting or using the photo editing app.

Techniques

By loosening the screw on the front lens unit, you can focus on the near object.

NOTE!! Do not loosen too much. The lens unit will fall out.

The front lens unit can be used with cameras that use an L39 mount adapter.

Precautions

• Due to its large f-stop, dust on the camera’s image sensor easily causes dark spots to appear. Please check the image sensor carefully before shooting. If you find any dust on the sensor, please clean it with a cleaning kit or ask the manufacturer for a cleaning service.
• We make every effort to ensure that the Lens mount adapter could be equipped, but in the unlikely event of the product not being able to be screwed on properly onto a camera mount (too hard to install, or if you cannot hear the click sound when screwing the mountings), please do not put extra pressure. • Switch on the “release without lens” on your camera setting.
• Set the shooting mode to A-Mode(Aperture Priority AE) or M-Mode(Manual Exposure).
• When installing this item onto Nikon1, please set the shooting mode to M mode(Manual) and change the shutter speed to adjust the exposure value.
• This is an optical equipment. Do not drop or hit against other objects.
• Avoid water or any kind of liquid.
• Do not touch the lens directly.
• It will lose focus when you are too close to an object.
