Wtulens for PENTAX Q series
“Wtulens Q” is a lens for the PENTAX Q series, made from a pair of “Utsurundesu” (sold globally as QuickSnap) lenses. With this lens, you can enjoy the soft, film-like, nostalgic look of toy camera photography on your mirrorless camera. Its thin, portable pancake design makes it perfect for casual snapshots!
0.5 Times Wider Angle
The “Utsurundesu” (sold globally as QuickSnap) features a high-performance aspheric meniscus lens. By combining two of these lenses symmetrically in a double-Gauss-like configuration, we achieved an angle of view approximately 0.5× wider than the original lens. When mounted on Q,Q10, it works as a 93.5mm lens (35mm equivalent focal length), or as a 78.2mm lens on Q7 and Q-S1.

It is compatible with PENTAX Q , Q10 , Q7 , Q-S1.

Techniques
By loosening the screw on the front lens unit, you can focus on the near object.
NOTE!! Do not loosen too much. The lens unit will fall out.
Precautions
- Due to its large f-stop, dust on the camera’s image sensor easily causes dark spots to appear. Please check the image sensor carefully before shooting. If you find any dust on the sensor, please clean with a cleaning kit or ask manufacturer for cleaning service.
- We make every effort to ensure that the Lens mount adapter could be equipped, but in the unlikely event of the product not being able to screwed on properly onto a camera mount (too hard to install on, or if you cannot hear the click sound when screwing the mountings), please do not put extra pressure. - Switch on the “release without lens” on your camera setting.
- Set the shooting mode to A-Mode(Aperture Priority AE) or M-Mode(Manual Exposure).
- When installing this item onto Nikon1, please set the shooting mode to M mode(Manual) and change the shutter speed to adjust the exposure value.
- This is an optical equipment. Do not drop of hit against other object.
- Avoid water or any kind of liquid.
- Do not touch the lens directly.
- It will lose focus when you are too close to an object.
