Create Unique Shaped Bokeh Easily Ever

Until now, it was a very hard work finding the right lens to photograph with the bokeh filter. In addition, advanced knowledge was necessary for this bokeh photography. Not only the focal distance and f-stop of the lens but the lens configuration and shape of a hole on the filter and other elements were also correlated complexly with each other.

“Bokeh Lens Illuminator” includes lens and mount adaptors which are perfectly compatible with each other, making it possible for everyone to to take creative bokeh photography.

Twenty Discs to Create Unique Shaped Bokeh

This kit includes discs with romantic heart, shining star and other unique shapes. You could create your own illumination depending on your idea.

If you are creating your own original disc, first make a circle with 39mm diameter with a black paper. Then, cut out whatever shape you’d like in the center circular area (20mm diameter) shown in the illustration below.

Techniques

Open the aperture and do NOT focus on the light source. This is a tip to take beautiful bokeh.

Turn the filter around to adjust the bokeh shape angle.

After adjusting the focus ring to 0.5 and aperture ring to 1.6, take photo of the light source in the background. Adjust the focus ring to make how you want the bokeh shape to be.

Precautions

If the product cannot be screwed on properly when fixing on to a camera mount, do not put extra pressure. There are possibilities to damage mount, camera body and lens system. Please contact us at support@gizmon.co.jp We will exchange the product.
Switch on the “release without lens” on your camera setting.
Set the shooting mode to A-Mode(Aperture Priority AE) or M-Mode(Manual Exposure)
This is an optical equipment. Do not drop of hit against other object.
Avoid water or any kind of liquid.
Do not touch the lens part directly.
