The product name “HD Wide & Macro Conversion Lens 0.56X” has been changed to “HD Wide & Macro Conversion Lens.”
However, there are no differences in lens composition or specification between the two products.
Since the magnification and angle of view varies depending on the camera’s sensor size and how it is being installed on, we came to a conclusion that specifying the magnification value on its product name is not suitable.

We have not checked regarding this question. For this, installation of a genuine grip is NOT covered by support.

If you are using cameras that are compatible with the UX-Tube Extension Tube, it is necessary. This product consists of a thick lens to achieve high performance. For this, it is heavier than general lenses from other brands. In order to support this heavy lens, UX-Tube Extension Tube is necessary.
There is a possibility of falling off or　damaging near the lens if you use some kind of adhesive tape to fix the lens onto your compact camera. The lens tube on compact cameras are made very precisely, and　they may be damaged by installing heavy lenses directly. UX-Tube Extension Tube was created to prevent those issues.

We actually measured the focal distance of the wide conversion lens on ZV-1 and　found that you can photograph with the focal length of 18mm. However, changing the aspect ratio or　setting the hand-shake correction function ON on ZV-1 will change the focal length.
Regarding other cameras, the focal length will differ according to its sensor size and　lens configuration. Also, the focal length will change depending on the step-up and　step-down ring used.
Please understand that the focal distance shown in the specification is an approximate amount.

Yes, you could operate the control ring with the UX-Tube Extension Tube on. UX-Tube Extension Tubeを回転させて使うことになります。

Several springs are loaded inside the Extension Tube, making it possible to expand and　contract.

It cannot be fixed(locked) at the extended state. 

Currently, it does NOT support Sony RX100 M6/M7. However, we are considering making it compatible.

No. Due to the length of the retractable lens, operation buttons interfering, and　other reasons, this item is NOT compatible with the first-generation model of PowerShot G7X.

It is compatible with various lenses with a diameter of 49mm. However, please do NOT use with lenses which surface sticks out like the illustration below. Super-wide-angle lenses tend to have these curved surfaces.

Vignetting may happen in the four corners when using a full-size camera with bigger sensors or　APS-C cameras. This is also related to the angle of view of the lens.

Please store the lens in the lens case after wiping of any fingerprints or　dust.

We have confirmed that those functions are working on both wide side and　telephoto side on the cameras introduced in this page

By using step-up and　step-down rings, you could install onto lenses that are not 49mm diameter.

No. Lenses for SLRs cannot be installed.

When fixing filter onto our HD Wide & Marco Conversion Lens 0.56X lens, please use filters with 62mm diameter.

It may slightly affect the F-Stop but not to the point where it bothers photographing.

Distortion may happen in the peripheral area. However, by setting the shooting mode to “Aperture Priority AE” and　increasing the F-Stop, you could reduce the distortion. F8 or　larger is recommended in sunny weather.

Mark2 and　Mark3 both share the same size in most of the parts but there is an operation button near the lens on Mark2, and　it interferes with the Extension Tube.

No. This product is not dust-proof or　drip-proof.

According to our testing, the lens distortion is minimized. We have adjusted so the lens could focus from center to peripheral area.

According to our testings, FUJIFILM AR-X100 and　RICOH GA-1 are compatible. We are not sure about other devices.

Yes, both front and　rear lens caps are included in the package.

Yes, it is designed to form a gap between the lens and　the UX-Tube Extension Tube so that filters could be fixed on while having the lotus lens hood on.

Currently, Yodobashi Camera (Electronic shop in Japan) does an exhibition sale.

Please contact the nearest Yodobashi Camera for information.

Please put on the lotus lens hood whenever the  conversion lens are NOT installed. It may affect the video. If you want to put on a lens hood along with the conversion lens, please purchase another lens hood which filter diameter matches the conversion lens.
