The product name “HD Wide & Macro Conversion Lens 0.56X” has been changed to “HD Wide & Macro Conversion Lens.”
However, there are no differences in lens composition or specification between the two products.
Since the magnification and angle of view varies depending on the camera’s sensor size and how it is being installed on, we came to a conclusion that specifying the magnification value on its product name is not suitable.

If you are using cameras that are compatible with the UX-Tube Extension Tube, it is necessary. This product consists of a thick lens to achieve high performance. For this, it is heavier than general lenses from other brands. In order to support this heavy lens, UX-Tube Extension Tube is necessary.
There is a possibility of falling off or　damaging near the lens if you use some kind of adhesive tape to fix the lens onto your compact camera. The lens tube on compact cameras are made very precisely, and　they may be damaged by installing heavy lenses directly. UX-Tube Extension Tube was created to prevent those issues.

We actually measured the focal distance of the wide conversion lens on ZV-1 and　found that you can photograph with the focal length of 18mm. However, changing the aspect ratio or　setting the hand-shake correction function ON on ZV-1 will change the focal length.
Regarding other cameras, the focal length will differ according to its sensor size and　lens configuration. Also, the focal length will change depending on the step-up and　step-down ring used.
Please understand that the focal distance shown in the specification is an approximate amount.

It is compatible with various lenses with a diameter of 49mm. However, please do NOT use with lenses which surface sticks out like the illustration below. Super-wide-angle lenses tend to have these curved surfaces.

Vignetting may happen in the four corners when using a full-size camera with bigger sensors or　APS-C cameras. This is also related to the angle of view of the lens.

Please store the lens in the lens case after wiping of any fingerprints or　dust.

By using step-up and　step-down rings, you could install onto lenses that are not 49mm diameter.

Yes, filters with 62mm diameter could be fixed on.

It may slightly affect the F-Stop but not to the point where it bothers photographing.

Distortion may happen in the peripheral area. However, by setting the shooting mode to “Aperture Priority AE” and　increasing the F-Stop, you could reduce the distortion. F8 or　larger is recommended in sunny weather.
